Oopsies: Way behind

By MamaM

They warned me about this.

Other moms. They warned me not to spend too much time on pregnancy books and to make sure I read some parenting books, too.

But I didn't listen.

And now, this is my stack of books that are supposed to help me figure out how to have a joyful child that sleeps through the night.

I want the answers! Problem is, I'm too busy holding the baby to hold any of these books...

That's the way it goes. Thing is, even if you read those books before hand, you just wouldn't grasp it until now. you needed a baseline. and once you figure something out, she'll change again. it's amazing how quickly they grow and how fast these phases pass. but i hear you...

I felt the same way - I finally caught up on some reading when she started sleeping through the night and then I started experimenting with some of the tips for her nap. I still experiment with her sleeping stuff at 10 months and end up doing whatever works for me which is different for everyone.

I'd recommend taking a pass on the babywise book. http://ezzo.info/
